Getting ready for Palm Springs, California

With just a few days left before the official start of Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s 12th Annual PepTalk 2013  here are a few tips and topics that may be of interest:

The conference officially starts on Monday, although there are a few pre-conference workshops on Sunday. Malvern Instruments will have an exhibit booth, stop by on Monday or Wednesday evening during the receptions in the exhibit hall, concurrant with poster sessions.

If you are registered for the dinner short course SC5 on “How to Obtain Reliable Information from Light Scattering: Theory, Practical Advice and Data Interpretation” we will meet at 4:30pm on Tuesday.  A presentation by Malvern’s Dr. E Neil Lewis titled “Recent Advances in the Integrated Measurements of Size, High Order Structure and Formulation Viscosity of Biopharmaceutical Formulations” starts at noon on Friday.  Since the exhibits close Friday afternoon, stop by the booth before noon, at any of the coffee breaks. The latest Zetasizer Nano ZSP is on display.

To get away from all the science talk: Thursday evenings in Downtown Palm Springs is Village Fest – a unique, free, open-air, streetfair with consistently positive ratings. For less crowds, go to the Palm Springs Art Museum – offering free admission on Thursday evenings: modern art and film screenings.

Safe travels!
