Iodine in foods

This application note demonstrates that the Epsilon 5 is ideally suited for measuring iodine in foods because it can provide fast and reliable results with very little sample preparation. Furthermore, it can be used by operators of all skill levels without generating any hazardous waste.

Traditionally iodine is measured using wet chemical techniques such as ICP-MS which require elaborate sample preparation steps and create hazardous waste streams.
