Lisa Mason has a Ph.D from the University of Leeds where they studied the bioextraction mechanism of mixed nickel-iron ores using an acidophilic bacterium. They went on to complete Postdoctoral research into ways to “produce the perfect particle”, applying this knowledge to diverse subjects such as margarines, nuclear waste and the lubrication of military heavy vehicles.
Leaving university, Lisa joined Malvern Panalytical in 2006 as a Customer Support Specialist, providing applications and technical support to our rheology users. In 2013 they went on to become a member of the Applications Team to look after pre-sales sample analysis for Kinexus, before becoming the UK Applications Manager in 2017.
The UK Applications team provides applications, technical support, and training for end users of all of the instrumentation manufactured by Malvern Panalytical.
Dr. Mason believes that Malvern Panalytical offers a portfolio of instrumentation capable of providing a solution to a multitude of customer issues, whether in the R&D environment or on the production floor. Leading a team of scientists who excel in communication and have a mindset to engage with our customers allows us to meet customer requirements head-on. Now, that’s exciting!
